Kotohogi

Created in 2022

Meaning: Spell

From the sky, snow drifts down and gracefully collects in the bare trees below. This soft snow built up over a calm night can look like little flowers. This piece is inspired by this beautiful phenomena.

This has been recreated and reimagined with an obi (kimono belt) and flowers. This piece also uses an obi-jime and obi-age (both parts of the kimono belt) to give the piece more of the gentle essence that is quintessential to the Japanese woman.
